Albus Dumbledore died too easily yo.....He should of went out fighting. |
In addition to being so epically hard core, the dude traveled a lot!!! What if he learned to shoot thunderbolts like Zeus while in Greece, or could you imagine him having a conversation with Emoteph from that movie The Mummy in Egypt?? LoL. He was supposed to be a High up minister of some sorts? Why turn down that position for headmaster of a school? Must be some deep answer behind that...
I think they kilt this character too soon man, he deserved a better death. Who wouldn't of rather seen him die while fighting Voldemort? (that would of brought some serious box office ratings on the big screen) plus it makes lots of sense since the old guy obviously had far more exprience, than for him loosing to some spoiled kid and and a stuck up English dude.
AH yea, BUT - you'll understand with Book 7.
ReplyDelete"Why turn down that position for headmaster of a school? Must be some deep answer behind that..." There was (in HP7). Power is an ongoing theme in the books. The quest for being powerful, invincible, etc. It usually brings out the worst in people, even in Dumbledore. He learned that relatively early on. He's a good person, but not a saint. So, can bad people be good? Can good people be bad?
Also revealed in HP7 is why he had to die that way. Hint: Is euthanasia for humans moral, when the person is already dying? Is it moral to aid someone in committing suicide? When you finish HP7, you'll understand these questions (and the one you asked). lol.
Sorry for all the mystery, but I don't want to give away too many spoilers so you all READ THE BOOK! ;)
